Alejandra's thoughts

I’m a Latina Christian whose life goal is to make a difference in this world whether in my own community or even another country to lead others closer to Christ.

Poverty is not having the necessary resources. To me, this includes water, shelter and food. All people should have clean water. This is a way we are impoverished.

We are very materialistic; we are always thirsting for the newest products in the market. I look at a standpoint being a Mexican American; I see how in other cultures, like in Mexico and now in El Salvador, how poverty to other people just means the basic necessities of water, food and shelter. We take for granted what we believe we want but don’t really need.
