The Cross Cultural Leadership Program brings approximately 15 students together as an annual cohort to explore the relationship between leadership and culture.
Participants enjoy a hands-on training approach during their fall retreat and monthly seminars. Using the GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness) Studies country clusters, each seminar focused on a specific regional cluster and their unique association it has to leadership.
The year concludes with a capstone experience that takes place either in or out of state. Past in-state programs have taken students to visit different cultural areas around Seattle and to the Yakama Nation Cultural Center in Toppenish. Out of state programs have been to El Salvador and the city of New Orleans.
